  • Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve: Home of the famous Cape Point, the reserve boasts a variety of game, wild flowers, beaches, hikes, windswept mountains and a funicular ride with fabulous views

 

  • Simon’s Town: Historical naval town which until 1970’s was home to the Royal Navy’s South Atlantic Squadron.  Restored buildings housing boutique shops, galleries, museums and restaurants abound while history of the area reveals itself in informative walks around the town.

 

  • Boulder’s Bay: World famous for its colony of African Jackass Penguins and gorgeous beaches provides the opportunity of swimming with and viewing these fascinating seabirds.

The Whole Earth Café, Camel Rock Restaurant and The Hub provide excellent, healthy dining within walking distance of anywhere in the village while other fine restaurants abound just a short ride from the village.

The Hub and the Whole Earth Café have excellent delis for organic produce, artisan breads, fresh vegetables and pastries.

Shopping malls in Simon’s Town and Sun Valley (near Fishhoek) provide an abundance of supermarket, clothing and other shopping opportunities in the area while Long Beach Mall has a cinema complex with the latest releases.
