Are these villas party venues and can I play loud music?
Our villas are NOT party venues. In respect for the peace and tranquility of this beautiful village, loud music and raucous behaviour are not allowed.
Can I bring my pets?
Absolutely! As our self-catering accommodation in Scarborough is offered in free-standing, fully enclosed properties, your pets are welcome upon request.
Is your self-catering accommodation in Scarborough suitable for small children and families?
Indeed! We can accommodate up to 8 guests including children. A cot and highchair can be provided upon request. Small children will be safe around the pool as it is equipped with a safety net. As the property is fully enclosed, little feet will not be able to wander off.
Is your accommodation in Scarborough suitable for teenagers and active families?
One of the great things about Scarborough is that it really does offer something for everyone – and teenagers are no exception! Mountain biking and hiking are freely available, as are adventure activities and day excursions. And if your teenagers require the mall experience, the huge and fully appointed Long Beach Mall, with cinemas, restaurants, coffee shops and all the major shops, is within convenient driving distance.
If your family is into hiking, the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve offers a variety of scenic hiking trails amongst the fynbos where you may spot a baboon or antelope along the way. The very many other activities available include nature and wildlife tours, dolphin and whale watching, boat tours, scuba diving and snorkelling, kayaking, shark diving, zip-lining, and wildlife safari experiences.
What weather can I expect in Scarborough?
The Cape Peninsula has a Mediterranean climate, which means that the summers are generally hot and dry, and the winters can be cold and wet. Most people plan their Cape holidays to coincide with the summer months from October/November to February/March. But if you are on holiday during other months, don’t worry – your self-catering accommodation in Scarborough has a lovely gas fireplace, blankets and wall heaters in every room to keep you snug and warm should the weather turn chilly!

The conservation village of Scarborough has a breathtakingly beautiful white-sand beach. This, combined with its spectacular mountain surroundings, ensures that it is a favourite destination for nature lovers, beach enthusiasts, kitesurfers, surfers, cyclists and hikers. The crisp, clear days of late April/early June are perfect for a hiking holiday.
The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a must for nature lovers, borders Scarborough. And the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach is a mere 15 minutes away.
What are some of the popular things to do in Scarborough?
Sightseeing is truly effortless from Scarborough with its beautiful mountain surrounds and beaches. Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve are just around the corner. Historic Simon’s Town is a short 15 minute drive away, as are Fish Hoek, (with its famous long white beach) and Kalk Bay, with its numerous restaurants and boutique shops.
And if you want to go a little further afield, there is the famous surfing beach at Muizenberg, lots of wineries, and the unmissable Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Cape Town itself with the Waterfront and all its amenities, not to mention Table Mountain, is only a short hour’s drive away. Hermanus, famous for the migratory whales that visit the Cape shores from July to September every year, is just over two hours’ drive away.

The Whole Earth Café, Camel Rock Restaurant and The Hub provide excellent, healthy dining within walking distance of our properties. The Hub and the Whole Earth Café have excellent delis for organic produce, artisan breads, fresh vegetables and pastries.

Yes! There is fast fibre internet at our villas. Whether you want to keep in touch with loved ones back home, check your emails, or update your social media pages with your latest adventures in Scarborough, we’ve got you covered.
What other amenities are available?
Each villa has an enclosed garden, a sparkling pool, two lounges, a dining room, and a games area equipped with table tennis and darts. Atlantic Dream’s games room also has a pool table. The kitchens are equipped with all the appliances you may need including a dishwasher. The villas include braai (barbecue) facilities and al fresco dining areas. Linen, towels and bath soap are provided.
Further amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, DSTV, and a DVD player. The front offers partial sea views and overlooks a milkwood forest. There is plenty of parking for cars and your privacy is guaranteed as the villa is only rented to one party at a time.
Will I be assured of peace and tranquillity in my self-catering accommodation in Scarborough?
The villas are located in a quiet residential neighbourhood where great emphasis is placed on peace and tranquillity. Large gatherings, loud music, and parties are not allowed.
