Scarborough is within easy travelling distance of all the Cape’s major attractions. The village is adjacent to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Simon’s Town, with its many restaurants, fine swimming beaches and busy naval base is a 10min drive away. Close by is Boulders Beach, home to the African Penguin. Boulder’s Beach: World famous for its colony of African Jackass Penguins and gorgeous beaches which offer opportunities for swimming with and viewing these fascinating seabirds.

Scarborough main beach is one of the finest surfing beaches in the Cape. The neighbouring beach at Misty Cliffs is a world-renowned spot for wind and kitesurfing.

Scarborough is a sleepy eco-village where children are safe to ride their bikes up and down the streets and play outside. Children can build sandcastles and explore the tidal pools and more adventurous adults can take on the waves with their surfboards.
