Our position in the heart of the Cape Peninsula is one of the reasons our guests keep returning time and again. Just 20 minutes from Cape Town centre and 25 minutes from the airport, we’re away from the crowds but still near the action!
Our Constantia accommodation is surrounded by sprawling forests and vineyards, and nestled in the Constantia Valley itself. We’re within easy reach of absolutely everything the Cape has to offer – from nature and adventure activities, to cultural and kid-friendly entertainment.
When staying in our self-catering Constantia accommodation, guests have the option of renting the main house only (up to 6 guests in three separate bedrooms) or the main house and the Cottage, which sleeps an additional 2 guests. But if you need accommodation for more guests, consider the Atlantic Dream Villa, located further south towards the Cape Peninsula, and which can sleep up to ten guests.
While the rest of the country receives its rain during the summer months, the Western Cape has a Mediterranean climate. This means our self-catering Constantia guest house experiences the most rain during the winter months, typically peaking in June. If you’re looking to hit the beaches, then the hottest and driest months are between December and February.
Even in the heart of winter though, we enjoy a pretty moderate climate, although the nights do get chilly. If you’re keen to enjoy the many cultural experiences Cape Town has to offer, then this is a great time to visit without the bustle of the peak season! Our Constantia accommodation features a lovely wood burning fireplace in the lounge to keep you snug and warm.
As animal lovers ourselves, we want our self-catering Constantia accommodation to provide a great experience for the whole family – and we believe that includes the four-legged members too! The property is enclosed on all sides, and a safety net over the sparkling pool will keep pets and small children safe.
Constantia is wine country, and is renowned the world over for its excellent vintages, coupled with exceptional dining opportunities. Besides wining and dining, however, there is plenty to do and see both within the town and beyond.
Tokai Forest is a paradise for hikers, dog walkers and horse riders, while the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are a must-see attraction for nature lovers and bird watchers. And our Constantia guest house is right on their doorstep!
Just 20 minutes away, Cape Town and all its many attractions await. From theatres, art galleries and museums, to golfing, shopping, high fashion and night life, Cape Town has it all, and then some.
Our immediate area features three excellent golf courses, beautiful mountain trails for hiking and biking, and a world class gym. Our proximity to Cape Town means all sorts of adventurous activities, from paragliding and helicopter rides to shark cage diving are an option!
One of the biggest draws of our self-catering Constantia accommodation is the quiet, tranquil neighbourhood. Because it is a residential area, we ask our guests to please refrain from any loud music, or activities which could disturb the peace. If you’re looking for a party, then the unbeatable inner city night life is just a short ride away – and you’ll have more fun in Cape Town anyway! Noisy parties are not permitted at Constantia Villa under any circumstances.
