gone to the beach villa

Scarborough, surrounded by the imposing mountains of Cape Town’s South Peninsula, boasts a fabulous strip of white sandy beach fronting the blue and fretful Atlantic Ocean and as such is one of the most beautiful of Cape Town suburbs.

Renowned for excellent surfing, wind surfing, fishing and /or sunbathing on the beach, Scarborough’s peaceful village and conservation minded atmosphere presents a refreshing antidote to the nearby Cape Town bustle.

With dogs welcome on the beach, Scarborough is the perfect place for a stroll (or more strenuous walk) with family and pets

Forty minutes from the Waterfront, ten minutes from Simon’s Town (with its many restaurants, fine swimming beaches and the busy naval base) or Fishhoek (fine swimming beach, movies and shopping), Boulders Beach (home of the African Penguin) and adjacent to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Scarborough is within easy travelling distance of all the Cape’s major attractions.
